The house

Set on nearly half an acre north of the highway in Montauk, this 1,700-square-foot, two-story house has a covered front porch overlooking a large front yard, hardwood floors and wood-accented furnishings.

The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a butcher-block island with seating for two; the adjacent dining area seats six. A living area has a wraparound couch, and a separate den has a brick fireplace, seating and a sleep sofa. The three bedrooms contain one king bed and two double/full beds. There are two full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Bed linens, bath towels, a hair dryer, hot water, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and a dryer are provided.

Sliding doors open from the den to a deck with an outdoor grill and dining area. Steps lead down to the landscaped yard and private heated inground pool, with poolside loungers and seating. A backyard hammock and two bicycles are available.

Town and the beach are within walking distance. Ditch Plains Beach is nearby, and The Crow’s Nest is a short walk away. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
