House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is 12; additional persons are not permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Event-related reservations, commercial activities, rotating groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval and may incur fees and/or a security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates, at the owner's discretion. If rebooked for the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has damage protection up to $25,000, subject to the coverage details in the booking agreement.

Getting there

Bedrooms span the main floor, second floor and lower level. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
