House rules
Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the premises, including interiors, balconies, patios and common areas. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes and marijuana. Violations incur a penalty and charges for necessary cleaning, deodorizing or repairs, and may lead to eviction without refund. Guests must inform their party and visitors of this policy. Children are welcome. Long-term stays are allowed. Pets are subject to consideration; assistance animals are always allowed. Housekeeping is available at additional cost.
Getting there
A car is necessary. Makaha Beach Park is five minutes away and is a nearby walking destination, as are Aki's Beach, local food trucks and Makaha Country Club. Honolulu and Hale'iwa are each about one hour away by car; HNL Airport is about 45 minutes away by car. Parking is restricted to standard or compact vehicles; oversized vehicles and large SUVs cannot be accommodated, and there is no public or street parking in the community. Accessibility features include a single-level layout, wide entry, pool/hot tub hoist and disabled parking.
