The house

The open-plan living and dining areas have vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors and retracting glass walls opening onto the lanai and pool. An oversized sectional provides group seating. The renovated kitchen has premium appliances, an island with seating, a breakfast nook and a separate formal dining area. The covered lanai has a dining table for eight.

Two primary suites have ensuite bathrooms. The first has pool views, a walk-in closet and a large walk-in shower; access is through the optional fifth bedroom or the exterior lanai. The second has garden views, a Smart TV and a tub/shower combination. Guest bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and access to the pool area. The optional fifth bedroom doubles as a sitting room adjoining the primary suite and can be locked off from it. Split air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided in all rooms.

The private backyard includes a pool, tropical planting, plumeria trees, shaded seating, a firepit lounge and an outdoor shower. Beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and coolers are provided; additional beach equipment rentals are available for a charge. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, Smart TV, washer, dryer, garage, parking space and a barbecue. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, coffee maker and grinder, kettle, blender, wine fridge, ice machine, toaster oven, crockpot and rice cooker.

A private gated path leads directly to Kailua Beach. Nico’s is within walking distance; Lanikai Beach, Waimanalo and Makapu’u Lighthouse trail are a short drive away. Shopping, dining and golf are minutes away in Kailua town, with access to Nuuanu Pali Lookout. A car is recommended. The home is offered exclusively for full 30-day rental periods, with online bookings subject to manager/owner approval.
