House rules
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. No persons beyond the maximum occupancy of eight are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups during a stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a canceled stay is successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. Reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If no replacement reservation is made, the original stay may still be used if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, damage protection covers up to $25,000, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Amagansett Village is steps away; the nearby LIRR is an easy walk. Indian Wells Beach and Atlantic Beach are nearby. The house is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture, equipment and pool availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
