Built by sumo champion Konishiki Yasokichi, the 5,804-square-foot home has 165 feet of sandy beachfront and unobstructed ocean views. The gated grounds include a beachfront lawn, lanai and private unheated pool with a cascading waterfall. There is no hot tub.
The vaulted living room has wood ceilings, glass walls, ocean panoramas and an adjoining dining area. The equipped kitchen includes a granite island, double sinks, cookware, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, toaster and freezer.
The main-house primary bedroom has king and queen beds, a garden view, split air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom. Three additional main-house guest bedrooms have queen beds and split air conditioning; one has a garden view and two have ocean views. The guest house has two sleeping rooms with portable window air conditioning and ocean views, one with two queen beds and one with a queen bed. Additional sleeping spaces include a ping-pong/game room with a full-size futon and private full bathroom, and a play room with two futons. Neither of these additional spaces has air conditioning; common areas use ocean breezes and ceiling fans.
Bathroom facilities include the primary ensuite, a bathroom shared by main-house guest bedrooms 2 and 3, a downstairs bathroom serving guest bedroom 4, a full bathroom near the kitchen/laundry area with outdoor access, and a shared guest-house bathroom. Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, a home theater, washer/dryer, linens, beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards are available. Free parking and a garage are provided. Security cameras are present.
Maili Beach Park and local food trucks are a short walk away. Ko Olina and Kapolei are a short drive away for shopping, dining and golf. The property is offered on a monthly basis and is currently for sale; the property manager arranges showings at a convenient time.
