Questions
Questions guests ask before booking
Answered by the host; the same facts Chucho uses.
What is the pool heating arrangement?
The pool is solar heated. Solar heating is generally effective in Nelson-Tasman between December & April, when the weather is warmer and the days are longer. Water temperature will be subject to actual weather conditions. Outside of the 'swimming months', the solar system is ineffective and will not be operated. Cold water swimming is possible - please let us know if you intend to swim during this time and we'll have the pool serviced prior to your arrival.
What is the internet like?
Kina Retreat is located in a rural area with rural broadband internet. 99% of the time these services will run perfectly, but the rural nature of the property can occasionally mean that some patience & understanding is necessary.
