High Street Kensington is moments away, with plenty of shops and restaurants, including local favourites The Ivy and Dishoom. If you'd rather eat in, the UK flagship Whole Foods store is at the end of the street. Transport links are excellent. High Street Kensington tube station is under a 3-minute walk away.
Trains reach Embankment (for Covent Garden) in just 14 minutes and Paddington (for Heathrow trains) in only 6. Kensington Gardens, home to Kensington Palace and the gateway to Hyde Park, is also under 3 minutes on foot. The South Kensington museums are under a 20-minute walk through Kensington's elegant streets. The entrance opens straight into a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. There's a large sofa, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV for relaxed evenings, a dining table for six and a desk for working from home.
The fully equipped kitchen is tucked around the corner and has a washer/dryer for longer stays. Off the living area, a shared bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, a sink and a WC. The master bedroom has a European king size bed (160cm) and built-in storage. Its sleek, modern en-suite has a walk-in shower, sink and WC, with underfloor heating for a touch of comfort on cooler mornings. The second bedroom is next door and has a UK King bed and its own desk, which suits guests who need to work.
