Listing description
Kalsa miniLoft accommodates four guests on the third floor of a building without a lift. Renovated by an architect, the apartment has a wooden-floored living area with a double sofa bed, workstation, design bookshelves and dining area. The mezzanine sleeping area contains a queen-size futon and built-in wardrobe. A small balcony overlooks the remains of ancient buildings.
The equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, coffee machine, moka pot, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. The apartment also has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and iron; the bathroom has a shower and hairdryer.
The central train station is 1 km away, with trains and buses to and from the airport and buses to Mondello and Monreale. Palermo's historic districts offer UNESCO heritage sites, a Baroque itinerary and tours of the Ballarò and Capo markets.
The mezzanine staircase has no railings, making the loft unsuitable for guests under 16. Building renovation and painting may cause daytime noise. A tourist tax may be payable upon arrival or a few days beforehand, according to local regulations.
