Questions guests ask before booking

Answered by the host; the same facts Chucho uses.

How do I get to Isla Múcura?

Take a boat from Cartagena (La Bodeguita dock, gate 4; departure at 9:00 a.m., about 2 hours) or Tolú (departure at 12:00 p.m., about 1 hour). Reserve your boat space with the hotel.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 1:00 p.m. Check-out is confirmed at booking; the stated range is 9:00–10:30 a.m. You can leave luggage at reception if you arrive early.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are welcome for COP 60,000 per night, including VAT. Dogs of breeds categorized as dangerous must wear a muzzle; bring supplies to pick up pet waste. On the boat, pets travel in arms or in a carrier.

What does the full-board plan include?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner with a drink, excluding alcoholic drinks, for COP 249,000 per person per day.

Is Wi-Fi available, and is there cellular signal?

Wi-Fi is available for guests. Cellular signal is weak across much of the island. The hotel identifies Claro and Tigo as operators with coverage; the FAQ also mentions Movistar. There are no ATMs, so bring cash.
