The house

The home has three bedrooms, an open den and three full bathrooms. The open-plan living and dining areas include comfortable seating, a large television and sliding glass doors opening onto a lanai with outdoor dining and lounge seating. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-making equipment, blender and wine fridge. A barbecue is also available.

The upstairs primary suite has a California king bed, a private lanai, ceiling fan and an ensuite with dual vanities, a soaking tub and separate tiled shower. The primary sleeping area is not enclosed and has no locking door; its adjoining open den contains two twin beds. Guest Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and an ensuite with a walk-in shower. Guest Bedroom 3 has a full bed and an ensuite with a walk-in shower. Split air conditioning serves the bedrooms and upstairs den only; the living and dining rooms use ceiling fans and natural ventilation.

Outside are a private pool, tropical landscaping, a private yard and a lava rock outdoor shower. Beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and a cooler are provided. Additional beach-equipment rentals are available for a charge. A laundry room includes a washer and dryer. Wi-Fi, television, a high chair and a pack and play are available.

Happy Talk Lounge and nearby tennis courts are within walking distance. Hanalei Bay and Hanalei Town are a short drive away. A car is necessary, and parking is restricted to the driveway. Children are welcome. Standard occupancy is six guests, with additional guest fees for occupancy above six, up to a maximum of eight. Longer stays require additional paid housekeeping.
