The house

Highland Hills sits on a quiet street across from a Peconic land trust. The open-plan kitchen connects to the dining and living rooms, with a wood-burning fireplace and sliding doors opening to the deck, pool and spa. The lower level has a wet bar, media room and sauna.

Five bedrooms include two second-floor ensuite rooms, one with a Jacuzzi tub and walk-in closet. Each bedroom has a queen bed and air conditioning; one also has a sleeper sofa and another has a bunk bed. There are five full bathrooms and one half bathroom.

The fenced backyard has a hammock, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, eight patio loungers and an umbrella-shaded outdoor dining table seating up to 12. Lawn-game equipment is provided. Outdoor facilities include a gas grill, heated private pool and hot tub; beach chairs, a cooler and kayak/canoe are also available.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, wine fridge, coffee pot, toaster, blender, cookware and dishes. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, parking, washer and dryer, heating, linens and towels, televisions, a Bluetooth speaker, a game room and pool table. The homeowner manages on-site operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
