The house

Designed by Col Brandy and featured in the October 2023 edition of Houses Magazine, the home has floor-to-ceiling glass, timber flooring and steel framing. The living/dining area has a wood heater, and there is a spacious deck. The bedroom has one queen bed. The separate bathroom is metres from the house along a semi-enclosed corridor. Linen, heating, hot water, a TV, an iron, a BBQ grill, an oven, coffee, a coffee maker and a kettle are provided. A smoke detector is fitted. The home is suitable for children aged 2–12 and infants under 2. Firewood is supplied only from May to October. The property relies on tank water.
