House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. No guests beyond the maximum occupancy of eight are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $50.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Towd Point is a nearby beach. The property is not suitable for multiple families or unrelated guests. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
