House rules
All guests must be 21 or older; children are not allowed. No pets or companion animals are allowed. The property is smoke-free and vape-free. Leave outdoor shoes in designated foyer areas; no shoes indoors. Guests remove trash and recyclables at checkout. Self check-in is 3:00–6:00 PM only; no late arrivals. Check out by 11:00 AM. No early arrivals or late checkouts. Maximum one room per reservation; bookings must be made online by the guests staying, using their own credit card. Same-day and walk-in bookings are not accepted. The third and fourth guests in the Barstow Suite incur an additional nightly charge.
Getting there
Shelburne Museum is 0.8 mile away and walkable. Shelburne Farms is 1.7 miles away. Burlington is approximately 7 miles south via Route 7. Main Inn second-floor rooms require stairs; there is no elevator. The Carriage House also has stairs to the Main Inn breakfast rooms.
