The hotel

Heart of the Village Inn has nine guest rooms across the Main Inn and Carriage House. Rooms include private bathrooms and air conditioning; room heating is available in most rooms. Breakfast is prepared each morning and served in the Main Inn breakfast rooms from 8:00 to 9:30 AM; in-room and to-go breakfast are not available. The property is smoke-free and vape-free, and guests must be at least 21. The inn is on Shelburne Road (Route 7); some Main Inn rooms closer to the street may notice more road noise.

The Carriage House and Main Inn are historic two-story buildings with no elevator. Carriage House guests must navigate several steps to reach the Main Inn for breakfast. The property has nine physical rooms and eleven booking configurations; Harrington Room and Harrington Suite share space, as do Barstow Room and Barstow Suite, and each paired configuration is unavailable when the other is booked. The Harrington Suite has a king and queen bed and accommodates up to three; the Barstow Suite has two king beds and accommodates up to four.

An additional nightly charge applies to the third and fourth Barstow Suite guests.
