House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. Smoking is not allowed. Additional persons require express approval; a fee of $250.00 per person per night may apply. Events require express approval and may incur a $2,000 event fee. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees or an increased security deposit may apply. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $120.00 per night of the reservation. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a cancellation is successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is fully paid. Reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If no replacement reservation is made, the original guest may use the original dates if payments comply with the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

A sandy beach is a three-minute walk away. The property is not suitable for persons with disabilities or children. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. A maximum of four unrelated guests is allowed.
