House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional guests are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities or other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during a stay, require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may retain their original stay provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Bedrooms are on the first, second and third floors. Cooper's Beach, Flying Point Beach, Halsey Neck Beach, Cryder Beach and Little Plains Beach are nearby. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about the availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
