House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during the same stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Pets require owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Marquis may work with the owner to reopen canceled dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are complete and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. The property has up to $25,000 of damage protection in lieu of a security deposit, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may show the home to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to give advance notice and arrange reasonable daytime showings.

Getting there

Sleeping accommodation and bathrooms are split between the main floor and lower level. Ponquogue Beach, Meschutt Beach and Tiana Town Beach are nearby. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
