The house

The home has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with standard occupancy for six guests and a maximum of eight subject to extra guest fees. The open-concept living and dining area has vaulted wood-beam A-frame ceilings, skylights, sliding doors and a dining table seating eight. The kitchen has a marble island, wine fridge, double ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffee-making equipment and small appliances; a BBQ is also available.

The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, an ocean-facing office space and a private lanai. The second bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and all three bedrooms have ocean views, lanai access, ceiling fans and individual split air conditioning. Two additional full bathrooms serve the home.

Wrap-around lanais offer shaded and sunny spaces for lounging and outdoor dining. The private solar-heated pool is set into the hillside among tropical greenery, and there is an indoor hot tub. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, a cooler and a beach bag are available. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, satellite television, a washer and dryer, linens and a private entrance.

Lanikai Beach and the Pillbox Trail are a short walk away. Downtown Kailua is a quick drive away, and Honolulu International Airport is 28 minutes away. A car is recommended. Access includes stairs and a steep driveway, with a level parking option below. The home is offered on a non-prorated 30-day rental basis, although full-month occupancy is not required.
