Access to the upper floor is not permitted. Seven days before arrival, instructions are sent for document registration through the Guest Portal and payment of Livorno tourist tax: 1 or 1.70 euro per person per night, depending on season. Air conditioning and heating are subject to Italian regulations: average indoor summer temperature must not be below 26°C, and the weighted average winter temperature must not exceed 19°C. Livorno's stated heating period is 8 November to 7 April, for up to 11 hours daily. For non-refundable bookings, cancellation, modification or no-show receives no refund. Standard bookings allow free cancellation until seven days before check-in; after that, cancellation, modification or no-show receives no refund.
Getting there
Stairs are required to reach the first-floor apartment, with no elevator. The shower enclosure is raised. From Livorno station, bus 2+ serves Grande 1, a four-minute walk from the apartment; the stated journey time is 20 minutes. From Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport, take PISAMOVER to Pisa Centrale, a regional train to Livorno Centrale, then bus 2+ to Grande 1; the stated journey time is one hour. Paid street parking is available nearby.
