Check-in is not possible after midnight, even for a fee. Early check-in and late check-out depend on other arrivals and departures and can only be confirmed the day before arrival. Guest Portal document-registration instructions are sent seven days before arrival for mandatory Italian guest registration. Waste must be sorted according to the instructions provided at check-in; incorrect disposal incurs a € 150 penalty. Air conditioning and heating must comply with Italian regulations: summer average indoor air temperature must not be below 26°C, and winter weighted average temperature must not exceed 19°C. For Catania climate zone B, heating is limited to seven hours daily from 8 December to 23 March.
Getting there
The apartment is on the first floor of a building without an elevator. Castello Ursino is 300 m away, and Castello Ursino and Piazza Duomo are a few minutes away on foot. Paid parking is off-property. An airport taxi journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively, walk seven minutes to Fontanarossa Goretti Ovest and take bus 524 to Piazza Borsellino, five minutes on foot from the apartment. From Catania station, walk one minute to Adamo Giuntini, take bus 525 to Acquicella Palestro Est, walk two minutes to Missori Palestro and take bus 632 to Garibaldi Politi, one minute on foot from the apartment.
