Online guest registration and payment of the applicable tourist tax are mandatory before access instructions can be received. Registration instructions are sent seven days before arrival. The published Como tourist tax is 2 euros per day for overnight stays up to four nights, payable before arrival; children under 14 are exempt. Check-in is from 16:00 to 21:00, and checkout is by 10:00. Assistance with self-check-in problems is available until 21:30; assistance after that time is not guaranteed. Contact the host by SMS or WhatsApp rather than phone calls. Heating is subject to Italian regulations: Como is in climate zone E, with operation for up to 14 hours daily from 15 October to 15 April and a winter weighted average air temperature limit of 19°C. For the non-refundable rate, cancellations, changes and no-shows receive no refund. For the standard rate, cancellation is free until seven days before check-in; after that deadline, cancellations, changes and no-shows receive no refund.
Getting there
Access is via steps from Via Prudenziana or an uphill path from the Salita Quarcino gate. Cars cannot reach the apartment directly. The nearest public parking is approximately 300 m away and is not guaranteed. The lakefront is 200 m away.
