The house

The apartment occupies two internal levels in a building with traditional Matera architecture. The lower level has a living room with a sofa bed, TV, desk, dining table and chairs, plus a kitchenette equipped with an induction hob, moka pot, electric kettle, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, wine glasses and cooking utensils. A separate relaxation area contains a whirlpool bathtub, shower, washbasin, lounger, clothes rack, armchairs and a small table. The lower-level bathroom has a shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet.

Steps lead to the upper bedroom, which contains a double bed, a folding single bed, bedside tables, clothes rack and safe. Its ensuite bathroom has a shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet. The bedroom has no door and is not acoustically separated from the rest of the apartment.

Unlimited Wi-Fi, independent boiler heating and air conditioning are available, with air vents in the living room and relaxation area and a fan-coil unit in the bedroom. Other equipment includes bed linen, towels, a drying rack, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Forced ventilation serves all rooms; switching it off at night is recommended to avoid noise.

Matera Cathedral and Tramontano Castle are each a six-minute walk away, and the ancient rock churches are a twelve-minute walk away. Shops, restaurants and cafés are nearby. Matera Centrale station is a ten-minute walk away; Bari Airport is 53 minutes away by car.
