House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is six. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Additional guests require express approval; an additional fee of $50.00 per person per night may apply. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during a stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $95.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in accidental-damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime visits.

Getting there

Access to a private beach is within walking distance. The home is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
