House rules

No loud noise between 22:00 and 08:00, parties, antisocial behaviour or smoking. Additional people require prior approval. Pets require approval and incur an additional cleaning fee of $200 per stay. Do not wear shoes indoors, and report any breakages. A house-rule breach may lead to a $500 fine, compensation for costs or damage, and immediate eviction without refund. Mandatory identity verification through a secure Stripe ID link is required after booking; check-in details are released only after successful verification. Unattended baggage cannot be received or stored before check-in or after check-out. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability from the night before and additional charges. Booking the preceding or following night is suggested to guarantee the corresponding extended access, subject to availability. At departure, leave beds unmade, clean and put away dishes, restore moved furniture, take out rubbish using the correct bins, switch off appliances, air conditioning and lights, close doors and windows, and check for belongings. Retrieval of forgotten items is not guaranteed; found items may be returned within Australia subject to postage and service fees.

Getting there

Driving is the easiest way to explore Bowral and the Southern Highlands. There is no onsite parking; nearby street parking is free and unlimited, with the driveway around a 50-second walk away. Sydney is roughly a 1.5–2-hour drive depending on traffic; Canberra is around two hours by car. Bowral Railway Station provides connections to neighbouring Southern Highlands towns and services towards Sydney and Canberra.
