Casa do Mártir is a restored house opposite the chapel dedicated to St Sebastian in the parish of Martir, in the Douro wine region. Its restoration retained local architecture, materials and colours while incorporating contemporary adaptations. Three ground-floor guest rooms share facilities including a former wine cellar converted into a breakfast room and leisure area, a garden and a swimming pool overlooking vineyards and hills. The communal pool opens from 1 June to 30 September.
Guests can receive help planning activities, particularly walking tours of the hillsides and mountains. A reservation confirmation voucher includes arrival details and information about additional Feels Like Home services.
