The house

The studio sleeps up to four guests in two queen-size beds. A large window overlooks the private chairlift and mountains. The suite has a kitchenette, a spacious writing desk, complimentary Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Elevators serve the eighth-floor condo, and coin-operated laundry facilities are available on-site.

Shared resort facilities include two heated outdoor pools open year-round, a children's pool and 150-foot waterslide, an outdoor hot tub and whirlpools, two tennis courts, a seasonal ice-skating rink, a fitness center and full-service spa. There is an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., a stocked trout pond with guided fly-fishing, and a cross-country ski center with 11 km of groomed trails. Six restaurants are on-site.

A nature trail skirts the resort, and the Truckee River Bike Trail is nearby. Lake Tahoe is 10 minutes away and offers boating, rafting and paddleboarding. The adjoining two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom lockoff unit may be rented separately for a larger group; it is not part of this studio rental.
