The house

The 1,600-square-foot home sits back from the road on a fenced 0.75-acre property backing onto a reserve. The living room has double-height ceilings, natural light and a wood-burning fireplace. The equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware and tableware. A breakfast counter seats two, and the dining table seats six. A wine fridge, drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster and blender are provided.

The main-floor primary bedroom has a king bed, full ensuite bathroom with shower, closet and deck access. Two upstairs bedrooms have a king bed and a queen bed respectively, air conditioning and closets. The upstairs full bathroom has a shower/tub combination; a half bathroom is on the main floor.

Outside are a large uncovered deck, gas grill, patio table, chairs and umbrella, six lounge chairs, lawn, outdoor shower and a fenced, heated freshwater in-ground pool with a vinyl liner. Four beach chairs, a beach umbrella and pool/beach towels are provided. Indoors, amenities include central air conditioning, heating, a washer and dryer, linens, bath towels, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, a stationary bike, a living-room smart television and a Bluetooth speaker. There is a private entrance and driveway parking for three cars.

The home is one block from the bay, between East Hampton and Amagansett. Maidstone Beach is a few minutes' walk away, and Three Mile Harbor marina is within walking distance. Nearby options include restaurants, coffee shops, a weekend farmers market, Amber Waves Farm and arts venues. The homeowner handles on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
