Before you book
House rules
The booking guest must be at least 25 years old. Up to two pets are allowed for a fee with AvantStay approval; undisclosed pets may result in a $500 fine per pet. This is a smoke-free home: violations incur a $500 cleaning and related-cost fee, plus responsibility for smoking damage beyond that fee. Be considerate of neighbors and noise levels; noise violations may result in fines. Speakers and sound systems are not provided. Guest registration is required before check-in. Bring an amenity badge when using community facilities; eight badges are provided, and children under five do not need one. Guests may not bring their own kayaks or personal watercraft for community use. Fireworks are prohibited at all times. Fishing requires a Pennsylvania fishing license and is catch-and-release. Community facility schedules and rules may change, availability is not guaranteed, and changes do not qualify for refunds or compensation. There is no private trash pickup: remove all trash from the home and surrounding grounds before departure and take it to the community compactor. Stays of 30 nights or longer require a Monthly Service Charge every 30 days.
Getting there
The home is in the ungated Towamensing Trails residential community, where guest registration is required before check-in. Community beach and lake access require badges; eight are provided, and children under five do not need one. Parking is limited to four vehicles with valid community parking passes. Big Boulder Ski Resort and Hawk Falls are 15 minutes away; Jack Frost Ski Resort and Jim Thorpe are 20 minutes away.
