The house

The 123 sqm apartment occupies a period building with high ceilings and large sash windows. Its drawing room has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, sofas, artwork, wooden floors and views over the garden square, along with a window-side desk, smart TV and high-speed Wi-Fi.

The handmade kitchen has deVOL hardware, Miele appliances and a large Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer. Kitchen facilities include a dishwasher, electric oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, cookware and tableware. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are available, and the home has central heating.

The main bedroom overlooks the garden and has a wardrobe, marble-topped chest of drawers and dressing table. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed on a library mezzanine, with French doors opening directly onto the garden. The bathroom has a walk-in rainfall shower, mosaic tiles, Aston Matthews fittings, a sink and WC.

The rear garden has roses, jasmine and honeysuckle, seating for six and space for outdoor dining and barbecues. Hyde Park and Portobello Road are within a 15-minute walk; Westbourne Grove's shops and dining are five minutes away. Transport links provide access to the West End, Kensington, Chelsea and the rest of London.
