House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is four guests. Additional guests require express approval. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited; reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. Stays longer than seven nights require one cleaning per week at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of $2,500 is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates; reopening is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire.

Getting there

Driveway parking is limited to two cars. The guest bedroom is on the lower level. The backyard is not fenced. Nearby beaches include Ditch Plains, Kirk Park and Navy Road; beaches can be reached on foot within minutes. The property is not handicap accessible.
