House rules

Only single families are welcome. Maximum occupancy is six guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $100.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Events of any size, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups of guests require prior written host approval. Additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Payments are generally non-refundable. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If it is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime visits.

Getting there

Georgica Beach and downtown East Hampton are nearby. Red Horse Market is a five-minute walk away. The home is not handicap accessible. It is not suitable for multiple families, unrelated guests or children aged four and under. Children must be able to swim.
