House rules
Maximum occupancy is 14. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to use reasonable daytime hours. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a cancellation is successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued once the replacement reservation is fully paid. Reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If no replacement booking is made, the original stay remains usable subject to scheduled payments and written notice to Marquis at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above that threshold must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
Getting there
The estate is on a private block between East Hampton and Amagansett. Nearby beaches include Main Beach, Georgica Beach, Wiborg Beach, Eqypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
