House rules
The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. Maximum occupancy is 10; additional guests are not permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per reservation night. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. A refundable $5,000 cash security deposit is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Owners may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and arrange reasonable daytime hours. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis may attempt to reopen and rebook the original dates, subject to the owner’s decision. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price and the replacement payment is collected in full, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued. If no replacement reservation is made, the original dates may still be used if payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire.
Getting there
The home is not suitable for children aged four and under. Town, beaches, restaurants and markets are minutes away.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
