House rules
No pets. No smoking. Children must not ride the elevator unattended or play in or around it. Never enter the elevator hoistway or use the elevator if its locking system is faulty, unusual sounds occur or the ride seems abnormal. Do not attempt elevator repairs.
Getting there
Accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicle only, via the beach. A private lighted walkway with steps crosses the barrier dune directly to the beach. The elevator is not guaranteed to be ADA compliant; steps or thresholds may be required for access.
