The house

The approximately 3,400-square-foot home has an open-plan layout, a renovated 500-square-foot great room with 16-foot ceilings, and a kitchen with stainless appliances and a marble island. The indoor dining area seats 10; the adjoining outdoor terrace seats six. A living room has a wood-burning fireplace, while another gathering area includes a fireplace, wet bar, piano and television. The finished walkout lower level includes a separate guest suite and a second kitchen.

Sleeping areas occupy the main, upper and lower levels, with air conditioning and several ensuite bathrooms. There are five full bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels are provided.

Outdoor facilities include multi-level decks, covered patio space, lounge chairs, outdoor dining furniture, a gas grill and a fenced backyard. Central air conditioning, heating, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, driveway parking for four cars and an exterior electric-vehicle charging point are available. The home is on a quiet dead-end street with wide streets for walking.
