House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is 10; no additional guests are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited; any proposed event, commercial activity, other non-traditional use or rotating guest group requires prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs exceeding $200.00 per night of the reservation. One dog up to 25 lbs is permitted for $200.00 per booking; larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is fully paid. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may show the home to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Beaches and town are minutes away. The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for multiple families or unrelated guests. The pool is unfenced. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, hot tub, outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Seasonal spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
