The house

Creekside Cabin consists of a main house and a detached, cedar-lined studio a few steps apart, with privacy between the buildings. The main house has a living room with a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, a dining nook seating three, a queen bedroom with TV, and a full bathroom. The studio has a queen bed and TV. Linens, towels, pillows and comforters are provided, with linens available for additional sleeping arrangements.

Outdoor facilities include a valley-view deck, picnic table, firepit with Adirondack chairs, barbecue, patio and garden/backyard. A high point on the property offers views across the river valley. Heating, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, ironing board and travel-sized toiletries are available. The kitchen includes a microwave and oven/stove.

The Schoharie River is across the road, with opportunities for riverside walks, wading, trout fishing and swimming. The property is on a highway, and traffic noise can be heard indoors. Hunter Mountain is a short drive east for winter skiing and snow tubing, and summer mountain biking and the Sky Ride; Windham Mountain is farther north. Other area outings include Spruceton Valley, the Devil's Path, Kaaterskill Falls, North and South Lake, and Tannersville's shops and cafes.
