House rules
Maximum occupancy is 10; no additional persons are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $165.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool/hot-tub use and outdoor furniture and equipment. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation is collected. If no new reservation is made, guests may retain use of the original dates provided the payment schedule is satisfied and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, up to $25,000 of damage protection applies, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
The beach, town shopping and restaurants are minutes away. Not suitable for unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
