House rules
The primary renter must be at least 40 years old. Pets, smoking and events are prohibited. Additional persons require express approval. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $95.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a cancellation is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. Reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above that amount must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, damage protection covers up to $25,000, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
East Hampton beaches are 10 minutes away. The property is not suitable for persons with disabilities. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
