The house

This third-floor apartment in The Crescent complex has an open-plan living and dining area, two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lounge has two sofas and a wall-mounted TV, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a covered, north-facing balcony. The balcony has a café table, two rattan chairs, potted plants and a BBQ. A dining table seats four.

The stone island kitchen includes a gas cooktop, oven, rangehood, dishwasher, full-size fridge-freezer with water dispenser, microwave, kettle, toaster, cookware and dining equipment. The island also serves as a breakfast bar and workspace.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedside table and lamp, laptop table and stool, built-in wardrobes, a private ensuite and direct balcony access. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, mirrored built-in wardrobes and a dedicated desk with a monitor and ergonomic office chair. The main bathroom has a walk-in frameless shower, vanity and mirror cabinet; the ensuite has a shower, vanity and toilet. Towels, a hair dryer and toiletries are provided.

An internal laundry contains a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning serves the whole apartment, and a lift connects the lobby to the apartment floor. Guests have access to the entire property except drawers and cabinets marked owner/private. The apartment is professionally cleaned and inspected between bookings. Longer stays, including relocation, corporate and insurance-displacement stays, are welcome.

Homebush station, village shops, cafés and the bus interchange are about 600 m away, a 7-minute walk. Direct trains reach Central/Sydney CBD in around 25–30 minutes and Parramatta in about 15 minutes. Sydney Olympic Park is a short drive, bus or bike ride away. DFO Homebush and Sydney Markets at Flemington are minutes away. Bicentennial Park and the Badu Mangroves wetlands offer walking and cycling paths, playgrounds and picnic areas.
