House rules
Maximum occupancy is six; guests must also stay within the guest count on their reservation. Stays are temporary only, not permanent residence. The responsible renter must be at least 25 unless a different minimum applies under unit-specific terms or law, provide proof of age on request, and stay throughout the rental. Guests below the applicable minimum age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Quiet hours are 10 p.m.–8 a.m. Smoking of any kind is prohibited throughout the property, including outdoor areas. Pets require authorization in the reservation; bona fide service animals are permitted as required by law. Emotional support animals require authorization as pets. Prior animal presence and freedom from pet allergens are not guaranteed. Parties, events, commercial photography or filming, tents and other structures require Avari’s written permission; additional fees may apply. Charcoal grills and illegal activity, including unlawful internet downloads, are prohibited. Follow parking rules and lock doors and windows when away. Subject to booking-channel terms, charges may include damage or loss; up to $1,000 for pet-policy violations, including extra or different pets; up to $500 in additional cleaning, or actual cost if greater, for rule violations or excessive mess; applicable fines plus related damages; and a late-departure fee of up to one night’s rental. Rule violations may result in termination and removal without refund. Report maintenance, housekeeping or safety issues promptly and allow reasonable time for resolution. Entry may occur with reasonable notice, or immediately in an emergency. The property is provided as is; shared amenities are outside Avari’s control. Unit-specific terms override these general terms, and booking-channel terms control in the event of a conflict.
Getting there
Four-wheel drive or traction equipment may be required in winter. Donner Lake is a short bike ride away; Truckee River is a few minutes away. Mountain trails lead directly from the community. Squaw Valley and Northstar California Resort are each 10 miles or less away. The shared pool, hot tub and gym are currently unavailable due to construction.
