House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25. Smoking is not allowed. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Additional guests require express approval and may incur $100.00 per person per night. Events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees or an increased security deposit may apply. One hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog of 25 lbs or less is permitted for $300.00 per booking. Other pets, multiple dogs, shedding/non-hypoallergenic dogs or larger dogs require express approval. Pets may not be on beds or furniture. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to arrange reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The home is not handicap accessible. Nearby beaches include Main Beach, Georgica Beach, Wiborg Beach, Egypt Beach, Two Mile Hollow Beach and Sammy's Beach. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
