House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is five; no additional guests are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups during the same stay, require prior written host approval and may involve additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $65.00 per reservation night. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner elects to reopen canceled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement booking is made, guests may still use the original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime showings.
Getting there
All bedrooms and both full bathrooms are on the second floor; a powder room is on the main floor. Towd Point Beach is a seven-minute walk away. Outdoor tennis courts and a farm are each a five-minute drive away. Before booking outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire whether the pool, outdoor furniture and equipment will be available; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
