House rules
The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. No persons beyond the maximum occupancy of seven are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities or other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups, require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If canceled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original reservation total is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
The property is not handicap accessible. Valleys, mountain trails and waterfalls are minutes away. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about the availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
