RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. Casale Tavernelle is located in the hamlet of Prodo, a few kilometres from Orvieto. We are in Umbria, the "green heart of Italy", a land rich in art and history with churches, monasteries, palaces, borghi and castles. In Prodo (2 km from the house) is a bar with a small general store selling basic necessities. Bars, grocery shops and a bus stop are in Colonnetta, a hamlet 8 km from Casale Tavernelle; all other shops, services, pharmacies, banks, ATMs, etc. are located in Ciconia (18 km) near Orvieto Scalo.
