The house

The open-concept living area has bohemian-inspired decor and sofas. A fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, a microwave and refrigerator. Meals can be enjoyed at the rustic dining table or outside on the terrace surrounded by tropical greenery.

The three bedrooms have bedding, storage and large windows. The three bathrooms have modern fixtures and showers. Outdoor spaces include a garden, a spacious terrace, a hammock, a plunge pool and an outdoor shower. Window coverings, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a washer are available.

The beaches of Uvita are minutes away, and restaurants, shops and local markets are within easy reach. Nearby outings include Marino Ballena National Park, waterfalls, jungle hikes and whale-watching tours.

Pool maintenance requires access to the house on Tuesdays and Fridays. Occasional power outages and interruptions to the spring-fed water supply can occur. Despite a pest-control plan, encounters with tropical wildlife are possible.
