House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is six, with no additional persons permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory and paid by the guest. Payments are generally non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above that amount must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, damage protection covers up to $25,000, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime visits.
Getting there
All three bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the lower level. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
