House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Additional persons and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $60.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. If the dates are not rebooked, guests may use their original reservation provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule showings during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Rogers Beach is 2.3 miles away; Pike's Beach is 6.1 miles away. The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for multiple families or unrelated guests. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
